Founded in 1995 in West Chester, Ohio, by a group of parents seeking a Christ-centered, scout-type program for their daughters, American Heritage Girls is one of the fastest growing youth programs in the country, having grown to nearly 1,000 troops in the 20 years since its founding.

About American Heritage Girls

American Heritage Girls is the premier national character development organization for girls ages 5-18, embracing Christian values and encouraging family involvement. 

As an officially chartered troop of American Heritage Girls, Inc., our troop operates as a ministry of Newbreak Church in Scripps Mesa.
Our troop offers many opportunities for service within our community, fellowship, through hiking, and various other participation experiences to foster a well-rounded program, rooted in Christ.

AHG's Mission: "Building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country" - American Heritage Girls is the premier national character development organization for young women that embraces Christian values and encourages family involvement.

Who can join?

Membership in the American Heritage Girls is open to girls ages 5-18 and subject to AHG’s Inclusion Policy.


Oath

I promise to Love God, Cherish my family, Honor my country and Serve in my community.


Inclusion Policy

All biological girls of any color, race, national origin and socioeconomic status who agree to live according to the standards of the AHG Oath and the AHG Creed are invited to be members of American Heritage Girls.

Creed

As an American Heritage Girl, I promise to be
Compassionate, Helpful, Honest, Loyal, PerseverantPure, Resourceful, Respectful, Responsible, and Reverent



Program Levels

American Heritage Girls has 5 program levels, each specifically designed with the physical, mental, social, spiritual, and emotional needs of girls 5-18 years old. Troop CA4112 encourages girls with special needs to join our troop.  We have a passion for encouraging all God's children and embracing their unique gifts, given by our Creator.  We hope to be a ministry that encourages all God's daughters and cannot wait to partner with families in raising up the next generation of Godly women.
